New Russian Orthodox Cathedral Being Built At Former Ipatiev House By Archimandrite Nektarios Serfes Boise, Idaho USA May 29 2002
Glory to God for all things!
In the past I have joyfully reported to you that a new Russian Orthodox
Cathedral was being built on the grounds of the former Ipatiev House, where the
holy martyrdom of the Royal Martyrs Tsar Nicholas II and Family happened on
July 17, 1918, in Ekaterinburg, Russia (click

We now know the name: Christ-on-the-Blood Russian Orthodox Cathedral,
(Russian: Hram-na-kowi) and it's expected to be completed by June/July 2003.
Upon completion the Cathedral will be consecrated, and also being considered
that a Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church meeting of the
Moscow Patriarchate under His Holiness Patriarch Alexis II, will take
place at the Cathedral.
The ruling Russian Orthodox bishop of Ykaterinburg, Russia is His
Eminence, Archbishop Vikenty. I am presenting you the photo of this
Cathedral Church now being built on the grounds of the former Ipatiev
House.
Glory Be To God For All Things!
